Chase Sapphire Card Bonus

Alright you guys, I had meant to make this post over a month ago, but now I’m so glad I waited! Because this bonus is BETTER THAN EVER. I kid you not, the world of travel hackers are freaking out right now because of it! So let’s get down to it. Here’s the link!

100,000 Point Sign On Bonus

Yes. You read that right. ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND points! When I signed up for mine three years ago, the sign on bonus was 60K. A few months ago they started offering 80K, which everyone thought was bananas. And now, it is up to 100,000 points for your sign on bonus! That’s an all-time high!

With this card, after you get approved you need to spend $4000 in the first three months. Depending on your spending that might be chump change or might be a real stretch, so consider it carefully. And please remember that we don’t EVER encourage going into debt or racking up balances that you can’t pay in full. However, if it works for you to spend $4000 by September-ish, this could be great! There is also a $95 annual fee for this card, so keep that in mind. Here’s the link!

Why This Card is One of The Best

This card is in my top three favorite cards! I’ve already written in detail about the Southwest Rapid Rewards card and the Capital One, both are awesome. This one is a favorite of every travel hacker because it is so dang versatile. The points that are accrued are Chase Ultimate Rewards points, and they can be transferred to 13 other hotel and airlines rewards programs. So with this one card, you can use their points to transfer to Southwest, United Airlines, Hyatt, Marriott, British Airways, Disney and beyond.

If you don’t want to transfer them, you can also use them to book travel in their own travel portal. It is similar to looking at Expedia or Priceline, and you can book on a bunch of airlines or hotels through them. It is super easy!

If traveling is just not your thing, or not in the cards right now, these points can also be used for straight cash back or even used for Amazon purchases. So don’t rule it out just if you don’t have a trip planned. Here’s the link!

Other Perks and the Fine Print

In addition to the points, this card offers a lot of awesome value. It has no foreign transaction fees, you can earn 2x points on travel and dining purchases, it offers trip protections for rental car insurance, delayed trip reimbursement, and so so so many more perks!

Unfortunately, this bonus is only available to new card members. So if you currently have this card, you won’t be eligible. Similarly, you can only get this bonus every 48 months. If you’ve received the sign on bonus in the past four years, this also won’t work for you. And lastly, Chase has a 5/24 rule. Meaning that if you have gotten 5 credit cards in the past 24 months, you will not be approved for another Chase card. Typically, if you are semi-new to the travel hacking game, or haven’t dove in head first, you won’t hit that 5/24 limit, but I like to throw it out there as an unwritten rule, just so you know! What Are You Waiting For??

Go now! Apply today for this awesome opportunity! I so wish that I was eligible so I could get it too! But now is the perfect time to get these points for travel later this year or even in 2022. We have used these points to book a hotel in Seattle, two in Scottsdale, transferred to American Airlines to book flights to Louisiana, and have plans to use it for big stuff in the future too! If you’ve toyed with the idea of starting to travel hack, NOW IS THE PERFECT TIME!!!
